Engineering physics (EP) integrates concepts from physics, engineering and math to bridge theoretical science (i.e. physics, chemistry and biology) and practical engineering. Engineering physicists mainly focus on research and development, design and analysis, often specializing in frontier areas of engineering such as nanotechnology, quantum devices, telecommunications, biomedical engineering, computer simulation of physical systems, energy systems, micro-mechanical systems and molecular electronics.
With an engineering physics degree, graduates will develop sufficient skills in engineering and basic physical sciences to help solving complex problems in our rapidly changing modern technologies. In addition to being qualified for positions both in high-tech startup and established engineering companies, graduates are also well prepared to pursuit further advanced graduate studies in either engineering or physics.
International EP offers programs aiming towards global exposure of its students. Students will conduct their first two-years (three-years) undergraduate education at ITB and subsequently continue another two-years (one-year) undergraduate period at our foreign university partners. Currently, we have officially three foreign university partners: Osaka University and Tsukuba University (Japan) and The University of Queensland (Australia). We are currently pursuing establishment of other collaborations with several potential university partners across the globe including European and American Universities.
Enhance your basic science and engineering skills: Mathematics, Basic Physics, Chemistry, Information technology and introduction to Engineering Sciences and design.
Enrich your knowledge through learning many fundamenal engineering sciences course: Engineering Mathematics, Mechanical, Electrical-related courses and topics on applied physics
Learn the basic of state-of-the-art multi-scale and multi-physics approach to solve various engineering problems.
Practicing your engineering skills to solve real, frontier engineering problems through projects and research activities. International exposure through exchange activity at our foreign universities partner.
Bachelor of Engineering Physics is applicable for both Indonesian and Non-Indonesian passport holder. Every admission process must follow the procedure in www.usm.itb.ac.id
We expect the prospectus applicant to have:
Educational Fee will includes the basic tuition fee for every semester, institutional development fee, and admission fee (only for foreigner) as follow:

IDR 42,000,000
IDR 60,000,000
IDR 84,000,000
–
IDR 22,500,000
*) Institutional development and admission fess is paid one time when the student just about to start the course program.
The tuition fees do not cover cost of international exposure program (travel, living costs and tuition at partner university), which will be separately determined depending on type of academic program and conditional living cost at overseas partner institutions.
General term & information regarding tuition fees are subject to change based on ITB regulations. Further details on the tuition fee conditions can be accessed at this link.
