Internationalization of Engineering Physics ITB
International Accreditation
Since 2012, the ITB Bachelor’s in Engineering Physics program possesses international accreditation from the United States Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET). It is one the first undergraduate programs in ITB to be accredited by ABET. Currently, this program has maintained its ABET accreditation in the 2016 reaccreditation process.
Student Exchange, Workshops, and International Competitions

To support the academic activities and to help student understand the course materials, the ITB Bachelor’s in Engineering Physics program facilitates numerous activities including student exchange programs, international workshops, as well as supporting the participation of students in international contests and competitions.

International student exchange programs can help students have international exposure in the form of course study or research. In the last few years, annually, there have been students that managed to complete such programs. The universities that hosts this exchange programs include the Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology (TUAT), Tohoku University, and Osaka University, all located in Japan. Some students have also completed exchange programs to the Korean Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and Ajou University in South Korea, also Eindhoven University of Technology in The Netherlands. Furthermore, the ITB Engineering Physics Undergraduate Program have been the host to many foreign exchange students from the Czech Republic, Japan, Denmark, and Germany. Besides having student exchange programs, some students have had summer internships at Conseil européen pour la recherche nucléaire (CERN).

The ITB Engineering Physics community routinely holds many workshops and seminars such as the International Conference on Instrumentation, Control, and Automation (ICA) which is biannually held since 2006. The community also actively participates in seminars that are held by other institutions, such as the Engineering Physics International Conference which is routinely held in rotation by Indonesian universities that have Engineering Physics programs. Workshops that are held by the Engineering Physics community span the fields of Computational Material Science, Acoustics, as well as Instrumentation and Control.
International Partnerships
To support the practice of Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi (Three Pillars of Higher Education comprising Education, Research, and Community Service), the ITB Engineering Physics community is actively involved in collaborations with various research institutions and universities internationally:
