INVITATION OF PARTICIPANT in the S Rajaratnam Youth Model ASEAN Conference (SRE-YMAC) 2016 organized by Singapore Polytechnic to be held in Singapore from 2 to 6 October 2016. Held under the theme “Bridging Hearts, Building Ties“ this year, the student participants will again meet their peers from all over ASEAN to share and exchange views, and to present their ideas to a panel of experts at the Conference. Participants will include 100 polytechnic students from Singapore, and 100 polytechnic and university students from the other 9 ASEAN countries and representative faculty staff members by invitation only.
Held yearly since 2012, the Youth Model ASEAN Conference (YMAC) is a simulation of an ASEAN Conference which brings together students from all ASEAN member states Delegates take on roles as diplomats from the ten ASEAN member countries, carry out research and debate on current regional and global issues faced by the region. These topics revolve around the themes of environment, economics, society, security and culture. The participants will also go on learning journeys and social contribution activities that is related to their topic of discussion.
The event is funded by S Rajaratnam Endowment (SRE), which provides sponsorship for the participants with the following:
· One return ticket from your country to Singapore on a budget airline;
· Hostel accommodation for 4 nights from the arrival day of 2 October to 5 October;
(please note that if there is no night flight out of Singapore on 6 October after the closing ceremony, the student participant may need to pay for an extra night of stay in Singapore which will cost about SGD100)
· Transport between airport and hostel during arrival and departure, and for activities during the conference;
· Breakfast, lunch and dinner during the 4 days of conference. (does not include meals for arrival and departure day)
We would like to invite 2 UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT participants from Institut Teknologi Bandung to participate in this conference.

Then, there will be a presentation/interview between July 18 to 22, 2016. It is possible to do the interview through Skype.
