Master’s in Instrumentation and Control (S2 IK)

The Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) Master’s in Instrumentation and Control (S2 IK) program aims to produce masters in engineering who are proficient in professionally using and developing instrumentation and control technology.

Introduction

Recently, the industrial sector is showing the trend of a fast-moving, ever-evolving field, especially when combined with technology. . In order to meet those criteria, industries often employ the use of appropriate and efficient instrumentation and control systems. The usage of such systems also led to innovations necessary to produce cutting-edge products, which resulted in the ability to keep up with the technological progression of the sector. Addressing this issue, the Master’s in Instrumentation and Control Program is ready to educate and foster future Master’s of Engineering who are skilled in using and developing the field of instrumentation and control professionally for educational, research, and industrial application purposes.

Through our prepared curriculum, the graduates of the Master in Instrumentation and Control Program are set to be able to meet the needs of various industrial sectors such as the process industry, manufacturing industry, strategic industry (aviation, chemical, telecommunications, shipping, steel smelting, electronics and military), medical instrumentation industry, consultant bureaus, construction services, universities and research institutes. Since its establishment, the Master in Instrumentation and Control Program has graduated students from various backgrounds, namely government and private agencies, as well as from industrial and research circles.
